Whitsunday Coast Airport Taking Shape!

The Whitsunday Coast Airport project has currently hit an exciting stage, with the next phase of structural steel being completed this week. This phase sees the formation of the Whitsunday Regional Council’s multi-million dollar terminal upgrades departure lounge come to life in full scale.

From here and across the next few weeks will see further concrete poured, completing part of the main baggage zone and structural steel erecting over the new baggage claim area. We look forward to seeing the facility take shape!
