Paynters Director Celebrates 30 Years with the Business

This month our team celebrated Director Neil Southwell as he reached an amazing milestone; 30 years with the business.

Neil has seen it all at Paynters, including the launch of Microsoft 😉.  He was 1 of 12 staff on the ground when he joined the Brisbane office in 1991, and has headed our financial operations and strategy ever since. Neil has played a pivotal role in the growth of Paynters group of companies, with the business now home to over 400 team members and 9 offices across the Eastern seaboard of Australia.

The team enjoyed a lively afternoon of drinks and canapes to celebrate Neil, who held back a tear or two as he reflected on his career, shared some stories, and spoke about what he feels has been the root of Paynters success.

“We often say we are only as good as our people, but I truly believe we have the best in our industry. It’s been our people both present and past that have been the greatest contribution to our success. So, whilst today is recognition of my time here, it’s also an opportunity for me to personally thank everyone of you for your contribution and continued support.”
