Townsville Community Learning Centre

Paynters was engaged by the Department of Education and Turner Townsend to undertake the construction of a two-storey learning facility, with six general learning spaces and associated landscaping works at Townsville Community Learning Centre.

In addition to this new learning centre, Paynters demolished the existing storage shed and maintenance block, making way for a new maintenance and storage shed. The school security system was upgraded, along with the installation of new booster pumps and tanks.

This expansion was critical to make room for school’s growing student base and meet extra enrolment demands in the future.
