Sod Turned for Townsville Youth Foyer

The sod was officially turned on the Townsville Youth Foyer project last week. The Paynters North Queensland team were joined by several special guests and local dignitaries, including the Hon Leeanne Enoch, who officially kicked off the construction works.

Located adjacent to the Pimlico Tafe Campus, this accommodation solution will soon support 40 young people aged between 16 and 25 who are at risk of homelessness. Residents will be given access to safe and secure housing in addition to flexible shared living spaces, while receiving 24/7 on site mentoring and support from Mission Australia to help them transition to independent living.

Paynters look forward to delivering further housing solutions to vulnerable Queenslanders, with the project expected to reach completion in late 2023.
